Homebuyer Education Course

 Our Homebuyer Education classes are designed to help participants understand the basics of the homebuying process. We will cover topics on how to assess readiness, shop for a home, obtain a mortgage loan, develop a budget, and improve credit. We will also include helpful tips for maintaining your home and finances after your purchase.  This course will provide you with the tools and tips to assemble your home building team.

We will provide maintenance and budget tips and help you understand property taxes, assessments, homeowner’s insurance, and home warranties. You will receive tips and strategies for becoming an involved member of your neighborhood and learn how to access community resources. Our New Construction class is designed to help buyers understand the basics of the home-building process. We will cover topics from understanding credit, developing a budget, exploring financing options, deciding where to live, selecting a lot, choosing the right type of builder, distinguishing wants vs. needs, and incorporating universal design and energy efficiencies. This course will provide you with the tools and tips to assemble your home-building team.

Our Seller class is designed to help home sellers know what they need to know before selling your most valuable asset. We will walk through the step-by-step process of home selling from preparing to list your home for sale to closing. We will provide the tips to prepare your home, price your home, and stage your home for the sale. You will learn how to plan for showings and open houses. You will receive expert tips on the how to negotiate, navigate the home inspection, and what to expect at closing.  The information offered in this course will help sellers maximize profits and avoid pitfalls.

Homebuyer Education classes are held monthly (Virtually: Monday - Thursday from 6-8 PM)
